This venture is a part of MAN's long term strategy to expand its footprint into the fast growing markets of Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Australia by uniting its proven leading edge technology with Force Motors' capability to rapidly indigenize at significantly lower costs at the same time meeting the exacting quality standards of MAN.

Overview MAN FORCE TRUCKS Pvt. Ltd. is a 50:50 Joint Venture between MAN Truck and Bus AG of Germany and FORCE Motors Ltd. India. Force Motors has played a pioneering role in the development of light commercial vehicle transport in India, with iconic vehicle brands like Tempo, Matador, Trax and the Traveller.

Combining MAN's proven leading edge technology with FORCE Motors 50 years experience in the Indian Commercial Vehicle Industry; these vehicles are made for the Indian conditions and market, using the Top Technology from MAN.

With an installed capacity of 24,000 vehicles per annum at its 'state of the art' plant at Pithampur, near Indore (MP), half the production is earmarked for exports through the global MAN Sales Organization.

Product Range The range of products manufactured includes Mining & Construction Tippers, Haulage, Tractors, Multi Axle Trucks, from 16t GVW to 49t GCW and fully built applications like tippers, bulkers, tankers, transit concrete mixers etc.

As of date there are over 5000 MAN FORCE vehicles on Indian roads working to the full satisfaction of leading operators, who have made repeat purchases based on the performance of the initial vehicles purchased by them.

Luxury Inter-city Coach Encouraged by the extremely positive response to the improved productivity and superlative performance of its engines, transmission and axles, we have developed an intercity coach powered by the 220hp BSIII MAN D08 front engine, fitted with a 6 speed ZF Synchromesh gearbox, Meritor axles and an MAN design air suspension on both front and rear wheels.

MAN Lion City Hybrid Bus has won the prestigious "Bus of the year 2011" award. Prior to this the MAN Starliner won the Bus of the year 2006. Utilizing the vast experience of MAN in building coaches, we have based on their inputs and keeping in mind the requirements and aspirations of the Indian bus traveler have incorporated customer friendly features like luxurious reclining seats, individual reading lights, individual AC vents, aisle seats which can be moved side-ways for class leading elbow room, ample leg room, large overhead storage racks and equally spacious underbody luggage compartment.

Extra Large windshield offers outstanding visibility, 3 way adjustable deluxe driver seat and intelligently placed outside rear view mirrors make driving the MAN Bus an effortless fatigue free experience.

Engine The CLA range of vehicles are powered by the MAN D08 engines not only meet the Bharat Stage III emission norms, but also have the built in capability to be upgraded to Bharat Stage IV emission levels. There are three engine options, the 6.9 litre, six cylinder MAN D0836 engine developing 220 hp and 280hp & 4.57 litre, four cylinder MAN 0834 engine developing 180 hp. Both these engines ensure optimal power output with low fuel consumption as well as low emissions.

Gearbox License ZF, smooth shift, latest technology nine speed synchromesh gearbox with planetary gears for car like smooth gearshifts, long life and highest reliability for the heavy duty 280hp vehicles. Six speed ZF 6S 850 gearbox for the light duty applications.

Rear Axles MAN Planetary Axles with Hub reduction, inter axle and differential locks, anti roll bars offer higher ground clearance and superior traction on the heavy duty 280hp vehicles. Proven Meritor Hypoid rear axles for the light duty applications like, 4x2 Tractors, 6x2 haulage and inter-city coaches.

Truly world class!e This joint venture is not only servicing the Indian market, but a large number of the vehicles produced in India is being exported through the MAN Channel to over twenty countries in South East Asia, Africa, CIS.

Pan India after sales service support Prompt and efficient after sales service is provided by a nationwide network of fully equipped main and associate dealers. The main dealers with sales, service and spare parts facilities are strategically located along the Golden Quadrilateral and the N-S, E-W corridors of the National Highway network. The associate dealers with service and spare parts facilities are located on the arterial routes and locations with high density of vehicle population.

Each dealer has a fully equipped mobile service van to render quick support in the unlikely event of a breakdown on the road. The dealers are equipped with company trained technicians, special tools and electronic diagnostic equipment and adequate stocks of reasonably price spare parts.

Advanced Technical Training Center A state of the art advanced service training facility has been set up at our Pithampur factory. Here training is provided to Company Engineers, Dealer Works Managers, and Dealer Technicians. Training is also provided to technicians of fleet owners and transporters who have their own repair and maintenance infrastructure.

In order to ensure that our customers are able to get the best performance from our vehicles the Training center conducts regular programs for drivers on free of charge basis on defensive driving, tips on conserving fuel and basic maintenance techniques.
